Ngepi Camp is a paradise of flooded plains and secret swampy backwaters,
teaming with wildlife, as we are nestled between Mahango National
park, a few km’s to the south, and Bwabwata National Park
directly opposite across the river.
Ngepi Camp Accommodation
Experience the rustic accommodation at Ngepi Camp, with Bush Huts
and Tree-houses as well as the camp sites.
Private or Group Camping
Each camp site has its own water supply, a limited power point and
is lit at night by our solar power installation. Most sites are
on the river under trees, on green grass, overlooking the National
Park. There are Solar hot water showers nearby in one of our funky
ablutions.
The Bush Huts are rustic huts made of reed walls
and thatch roof and are divided into two small rooms, one with one
double and the other with two single beds, making them ideal for
families. They are equipped with mosquito nets and have their own
bathroom at the rear. The camp sites do have electrical points from
the afternoon until the evening. Braai facilities if required
The Tree-houses are constructed from reed walls
and thatch roof and are built on raised wooden platforms around
a tree and overlooking the river. It is simple accommodation but
with lots of character and each one is slightly different. The Tree-houses
come complete with either one double or two single beds with mosquito
nets plus their own toilet and shower.
