Just a few minutes drive to Andersson gate (Okaukuejo) on the C 38, we offer competitively priced accommodation and camping. Perched on a small hill near the Ondundozonanandanana mountain range 22 uniquely designed en-suite safari-bungalows offer a warm and creative African ambience. Each tented bungalow is decorated with artistically painted floors, metal and ceramic furniture created by local Namibian craftsmen. The inventive and rustic design also continues through to the spacious bathroom. The accommodation is rustic and simple in design, yet with attention to detail. Locally made metal furniture is used and there are hand-painted ceramic basins in the bathroom and copper taps. Each chalet also has a small private veranda. The main area is situated at the foot of the hill and includes a restaurant, swimming pool, internet cafe and the funky Oshebeena Bar, which has been modelled on a typical township shabeen. Guests can enjoy the inviting veranda stretched across the length of each bungalow, while relaxing in the midst of dense Mopane and Commiphora vegetation boasting an abundant bird-life. A great way to unwind before setting off on the next Etosha game drive. To ensure comfort at all times, each bed is covered with spacious mosquito net and the gauzed windows provide optimal protection and air circulation. The bathrooms are equipped with year round warm water ensuring that rejuvenating and much appreciated shower while on safari. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in a rustic and tastefully decorated farm-style restaurant at the foot of the hill. Guests can relax in the swimming pool, make use of the handy internet cafe or enjoy the walking trails. For the more adventurous traveller, Etosha Safari Camp provides a well-equiped campsite. Camping guests are welcome to enjoy the camp’s facilities and the fresh buffet-style cooking. Our tastefully decorated tented safari bungalows and the well-equipped campsite are clearly a very competitive and attractive overnight option while visiting the Etosha National Park.
