landscape and is situated in the north of Namibia, close to the
Etosha National Park (southern entrance - Andersson Gate).
Situated close to the world renowned Etosha National Park, offering
a selection of luxurious accommodation with all amenities you may
require. An abundance of wildlife can be seen at our floodlit waterhole.
Experience cheetah feedings, bushman trail, incomparable fly-in
safaris, day trips to Etosha and much more. Relax at our poolbar
and enjoy an evening around the open fire with a sundowner.
Due to its special location on a mountain slope, the lodge affords
spectacular vistas across Africa's thorn-bush savannah and wildlife.
Observe diverse game species that gather at a nearby watering hole
by day and night, from the pool deck or your terrace while sipping
a well-chilled drink.
Lodge Acommoidation
We have 3 bungalows including 2 double rooms and one bungalow with
double rooms and single room for a third person/ or child in the
same unit. In addition to that we have two family rooms which are
perfectly suitable for families with younger kids (under ten years).
All of our accommodation has big open living areas in the middle
of the room and an access to a private terrace. Our guest rooms
all have a brilliant view over the open plains of the Namibian wilderness.
All rooms are provided with large beds and mosquito nets. The spacious
bathrooms have got large showers and the other rooms are equipped
with a bath tub and bidet. Our rooms always have a natural and comfortable
indoor temperature because of the thatched roofs.
The Farmhouse
Our farm house is located 5 km from the lodge and is a self-catering
accommodation. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a living room,
4 double bedrooms with bathrooms including showers and a barbecue-area
on the terrace. From there you can overlook the nearby, well-frequented
waterhole. The price includes towels, bed-linens and firewood. The
minimum duration of stay consists of at least 3 nights for 2 people.
The farm house can be booked for groups of 2 to 8 guests. Please
arrange an individual agreement if the number of people exceeds
8 people. Arrangements for meals at the lodge can be made.
Camping
The farm house area is fenced and two camp sites are provided. Each
campsite has its own toilet. Firewood is available.
The Restaurant
Our cuisine is stressed on high quality. We offer international
menus combined with traditional ingredients, vegetables that are
grown in our own garden and game meat. The collective dinner is
served as a three course meal in our restaurant. In combination
with our excellent cuisine we recommend outstanding South African
wines. From 7.00 AM you get an adequate English and continental
breakfast. Who loves to sleep in can be assured that breakfast will
be served at any other time during the morning.
If the weather is appropriate we prefer that you enjoy our barbecued
meat including trimmings and salads outside at the pool bar.
Relax around the swimming pool or participate in some of our varied
activities.
From our pool deck / lapa you have an excellent view over the waterhole
which is lighted during night. Enjoy a drink at the bar and chat
with your host or exchange experiences with other guests. Relax
and enjoy the barbecues under the glorious Namibian starry sky.
Our pool area is perfect to rest and relax. Just enjoy the glorious
silence. Doesn't matter if you prefer relaxing in the sun or in
the shadow of our thatched roof - everybody gets what they desire.

Activities
Safari tours in Etosha National Park
Please feel free to join us on a guided tour into Etosha National
Park so that you have more time to enjoy the fauna and flora, take
pictures and relax. Our open safari vehicle is equipped with 10
seats so there is enough room for everyone. During the tours you
can relax as we will take care of your physical well-being. The
tour starts after breakfast.
You can calmly take pictures and intensely observe all the animals
while our qualified guide do the explaining and driving. Except
for buffalos you will find many other animals in the park: four
of the “Big Five” and also hundreds of zebras, antelopes,
giraffes, etc can be seen in Etosha National Park. Besides it is
the domain of more than 300 different bird species. Keep your camera
ready and don't forget your binoculars. After an exciting tour we
will bring you back to the lodge in the afternoon.
Our unique cheetah feed followed by sundowners enjoyed at a view
point is an experience not to be missed. Watching the sun set slowly
on the horizon of Namibia's vast wide open landscapes creates truly
unforgettable memories.
After the cheetahs are fed we drive in our open safari vehicle
to the sun downer hill to enjoy a memorable sunset. For more information

Cheetah Project
In close cooperation to the Namibian Cheetah Conservation Fund we
launched a project to protect the cheetahs that are in danger of
extinction. If you visit us you can observe the daily feeding at
close range. We do a drive through the camps were the cheetahs are
kept and during this time you will get all the information about
the project and the cheetahs. You also get the unique opportunity
to take pictures or videos of these incredible animals in their
natural habitat.
We arrange for you game viewing safaris into the Etosha National
Park and day excursions to a Himba homestead. Or explore our 24000
ha game farm with a knowledgeable guide.
Sundowner Drive
The day comes the day goes - an old Bushman's saying. Just before
sunset we drive our guests in an open safari vehicle to the sun
downer hill. Here we offer our guests sparkling wine and snacks
while you enjoy the amazing sunset. Come and experience the magic
of Africa!
Hiking
Did you spend enough time seated in your car? Are you ready to move?
We have a secure and exciting hiking trail close to Nauanaua Lodge.
On your way you will find an information centre that will provide
you with all the information about the life and culture of the Bushmen
/ San people in the Etosha region.
Himba Tour
During the Ovahimba Tour you will experience the life and culture
of this exotic and primitive Namibian people. Join us on a visit
to a Himba kraal and experience the daily life of these amazing
and friendly people.
