The Cañon Roadhouse is located 20 kilometres from the main viewpoint of the Fish River Canyon. Coming from the north, it is the logical stop on your way to one of Namibia’s greatest natural wonders. The now fully completed and operational Roadhouse offers everything the weary traveller needs.

The 24 individually decorated en-suite rooms are gathered around an inner courtyard, creating a feel of tranquil homeliness.

Some large shade trees, a few grill areas, toilets and hot showers provide the camping enthusiasts with all the ingredients for a peaceful night under the magnificent stars. The large swimming pool and sundeck are tucked in between indigenous succulents such as Hoodias and Aloes at this Fish River Canyon accommodation.

The lodge is interestingly decorated with old car parts, found in the region. Old antiques adorn the inside, such as an old gas burning stove with a beaten copper kettle on top. Dining
The à la Carte restaurant is open all day and decorated with artefacts of a bygone era which makes dining here an intimate and cosy experience. Great care is taken to provide our guests with delicious food and personalised service, while a large terrace allows for alfresco dining during those long southern summer-nights.

Canyon Roadhouse pride themselves on their delicious food and personalized service, comments many of their guests reiterate. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served in The Canon Roadhouse's restaurant. Breakfast is served buffet-style with a choice of cereals, fruits and a full English breakfast. Fruit juices, coffee and tea are also available.

Lunch and dinner are both served from an 'a la carte' menu. Fresh salads and sandwiches can be ordered for lunch, and the dinner menu has a splendid choice of international-style cuisine.

Guests can enjoy a drink in the noted 'Wheels' bar, a setting for many a tall travellers' tale. There is also a laundry service and Internet connection.
