We are situated on the main road from Johannesburg and Cape town,
South Africa to Windhoek, Namibia's capital. This "B1"
main road is the gateway to the Central, Northern and Coastal regions
of our beautiful vast country.

Accommodation & Meals at Savanna Guest farm:
We provide our guests with stylish tranquil surroundings, set in
a Colonial style, with our focus on elegance, incorporating both
old and new.
Stylish, spacious, self catering family en-suite units are available.
These units are air conditioned and equipped with ceiling fans,
with WC and shower en-suite.
Two double rooms are also available to our guests. All rooms have
their own coffee and tea facilities.
We serve a hearty breakfast to our guests, with the smell of freshly
made coffee and bacon, filling the air. You will be served by our
friendly staff, ensuring you get a good start to a beautiful day!!
Dinner is available by prior arrangement. Dinner consists of local
food, specializing in lamb from the farm and prime venison cuts.
A romantic candlelight dinner is prepared for our guests from our
local farm kitchen. Good food and good company with a glass of good
wine is the best way to end the day!!
All food is freshly prepared in our kitchen from the best organic
foods locally available.
About Savanna Guest Farm
The main house was built by "German Schutztruppe" in early
1900’s and is now the residence of the von Schauroth family.
Rich in history and culture, Savanna Guest Farm is a traditional
Namibian sheep farm where true Namibian hospitality, local food
and good wine dominates.
We offer relaxed and tranquil accommodation in safe surrounding
without having to off load your whole car.
An opportunity for foreigners to experience a typical Namibian farm
and to meet the friendly local Namibian people. The Guest house
is managed by owners.
Our much respected "Dorper Sheep Stud" is our pride and
we produce high quality produce for both local and international
markets.
We also train Arabian Horses for competitive endurance riding and
are active members of the Namibian Endurance Ride Association.
A 120km drive will take you to the well known "Fish River Canyon".
Relaxing on Savanna Guest Farm
Our guests have access to 22000 hectare of un spoilt, beautiful
farmland to explore. Many game species including, Springbuck, Kudu,
Oryx, Klipspringer and "Steen bokkies", to name a few,
roam freely on the farm. If you are lucky, you might meat up with
one of Namibia's cat's or other smaller predators.
Unguided hiking and driving trails are available to add to your
adventure. A perfect opportunity for those in need of privacy and
some time alone in nature.
Bird watchers and animal lovers will have a feast with abundance
of local "fauna and flora" to explore. If you are tired
and need to rest, an ice cold beer can be enjoyed at our swimming
pool, or if you prefer, read your favorite book in our enclosed
lapa.
A fully licensed bar is available to our guests. Fine wine is served.
