Gelbingen is situated in the middle of the Kaoko-Etosha
Conservancy on the Southwestern border of the Etosha National Park.
It is the ideal stop over for guests traveling to Opuwo or the Epupa
Falls. Guests staying at Gelbingen can do game drives, guided walks
or a sundowner drive.
Your hosts Andrea and Volker offer one-day excursion to the Himbas
at Opuwo, or a two-day excursion to the Himbas at Epupa.
Gelbingen Lodge is situated in a mountainous valley in the middle
of a mopani tree savannah. While enjoying our hospitality, guests
can easily explore the Etosha National Park, Damaraland and Kaokoland,
or enjoy one of our own tours.
The cosy dining area and the popular Himba Bar are located in the
main building, with tea and coffee available at the lapa. Breakfast
is buffet-style and light lunches can also be arranged on request.
In addition, a set menu of scrumptious bush cuisine for dinner including
game meat and fresh vegetables, can be ordered.
