Welcome to Khorixas Restcamp
Khorixas was previously the capital of the Damaraland bantustan prior to Namibia's independence. Just outside Khorixas, the traditional capital of Damaraland.
Strategically situated to visit the Burnt Mountain, Brandberg, Organ Pipes and Twyfelfontein - is the Khorixas Rest Camp, a comfortable oasis in the heart of an arid but wondrous land. Curious stone formations, ancient rock engravings and strange geological phenomena continue to lure travelers to the compelling beauty of the Kunene Region.
The camp provides everything that the weary traveler needs to recharge his batteries, including a swimming pool, à la Carte restaurant and comfortable chalets. 38 bungalows, 50 camping/caravan sites swimming pool and curio kiosk.
Khorixas Restcamp Accommodation
Accommodation is in a total of 38 rooms. They are all equipped with an en-suite shower and toilet, air-conditioning and a tea/coffee station. Some of the rooms are non-smoking.

Khorixas Restcamp Facilities
Facilities include an 'a la carte' restaurant, a bar with satellite television, pool table and a curio kiosk. There is a safe in the office to lock up valuables. Secure parking is next to the rooms. After a welcoming dip in the pool, guests can relax and unwind at the tables and chairs provided.
