A place of mystery, wind-sculpted rock and far horizons. Nestling
in a timeless valley is the Vingerklip Lodge on
the 3000 ha Farm Bertram that is surrounded by a game fence helping
us to protect and preserve the animals.
Our 1600 ha private reserve has 3 waterholes in various locations
around the lodge with the main water-hole being flood lit at night.
One of the most dramatic rock formations in Namibia is the 35m high
pillar of rock, the Vingerklip or Finger of Stone. It stands proudly
above a valley in the ancient landscape known as the Ugab terraces.

Nestling in this timeless valley is Vingerklip Lodge where guests
are warmly welcomed. A sheltered sundowner veranda affords breathtaking
views of the surrounding countryside and the unmatched splendour
of a Namibian sunset. Gourmet cuisine complemented by fine wines,
and refreshing, locally brewed beer is served by the open fireplace
in a spacious dining area.
Vingerklip Lodge Accommodation
The 11 double unit thatched bungalows comprising 22 rooms with en
suite bathrooms which are
individually furnished and equiped to satify all travellers requirements.
Each unit has a private terrace to complete the atmosphere of relaxation
and tranquillity.
Eight of the units offer loft accommodation for two children each.

Fine wines, and refreshing, locally brewed beer is served complimenting
our Gourmet cuisine and buffet in the spacious dining area.
The lodge offers 2 Swimming pools where guests can spend the lazy
afternoons.
For those who prefer a more luxurious and warmer form of relaxation,
the Jacuzzi is open to guests at their convenience.

Location
Vingerklip Lodge is located in the Khorixas area of northcentral
Namibia.
This lodge is situated on the D2743 around 15km south of the C39
turning, which is 50km east of Khorixas.
