Welcome to Maltahöhe Hotel.
Welcome to Maltahoehe and its historic hotel. The hotel was established
in1907 which makes it the oldest country hotel in Namibia still
partly operating in the original buildings.
We offer 24 en suite double rooms, 3 family rooms, sleeping up to
six guests with shared bath and toilet facilities, an 18 bed backpackers
dormitory for the discerning traveller. Furthermore a very cosy
bar, good food all day, internet facilities, a curio shop, outside
relaxation around the swimming pool and personal service.
Located about 300 kilometers to the south of Windhoek,
makes it the ideal stop over en route to Sossusvlei, Luederitzbucht,
the Diamond Fields or the mighty Fish River Canyon.
From the hotel we offer guided day tours to Sossusvlei via Sesriem
Canyon and Duwisib Castle with picnic lunch en route. Another tour
we offer is to Kub on the banks on the Fishriver with its historic
police station and school with a lunch baberque and game drive on
farm Wildpark. Other tours to surrounding attractions can be organized
on short notice.
