Lake Oanob Resort is 85kms south of Namibia's capital city Windhoek, and under 2hrs drive south of it's International Airport. The resort is built on the banks of the very scenic Oanob Dam.

Majestic mountains are set on fire by spectacular sunsets. From your patio you can see the reflections of the moon and stars on the lake. 6 200 ha of unspoiled nature provides the perfect haven for an abundance of free roaming game.

Lake Oanob Resort offers a range of waterfront accommodation possibilities such as luxurious Chalets, en-suite rooms and campsites. All facilities have got gardens with lawns in front, units for the physically challenged and baby beds on request.

Luxury Chalets with two or three bedrooms (options shower and/or bath), fully equipped kitchen (microwave, stove, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, etc.) satellite TV, private veranda with built in BBQ overlooking the Oanob Lake and mountains. Each Chalet has its own access to the waterfront. Bedding and Towels are available.

Rooms (single, twin, double and family) each have got its own bathroom with shower, veranda overlooking the Oanob Lake and mountains. Bedding and Towels are available. High quality rooms. Hot water ablution is provided.

Our 31 camping sites are partly located at the waterfront, partly in the bush and are suitable for big / small tents as well as cars with roof tents, camper and caravans.

Camping areas all with BBQ, drinkable water point, power point and light. Shade nets and close vicinity of trees cover a majority of campsites. High quality hot water ablution is provided with toilets and shower.

An a la carte Restaurant and fully licensed bars will make your visit complete and unforgettable.

Turn-off North of Rehoboth (B1) into D1280:
Follow the gravel road for 7 km until you reach the resort.
Turn-off South of Rehoboth (B1) into D1237: Follow the gravel road until the crossroad and turn to the left, follow the road for 3 km until you reach the resort.
