Welcome to Spitskoppe Rest Camp
Camping at Spitzkoppe is world famous. A mountain oasis in the Namib desert, with unique oversized boulders and secret caves, allows the visitor to camp in complete peace and tranquility.
With the majestic Namibian "Matterhorn" as backdrop and with the next camping site kilometers away, each visitor "owns" the mountain during his time with us.
PLEASE NOTE: That in strict compliance with the Namibian Heritage Act and Environmental Laws, a complete Environmental Impact Assessment of the whole Spitzkoppe Mountain, with a resulting Area Management Plan, has resulted in guidelines protecting our Mountain and Rock paintings.
Rooms are not en-suite, separate ablutions facilities for room guest only are available with running hot and cold water

Take the B2 from Swakopmund towards Usakos. 40 kilometres before Usakos turn left onto the D1918 towards Hentjies Bay. After 18 kilometres turn right onto the D3716 and drive a further 11 kilometres. Accessible by ordinary cars
